Liverpool ‘would sell Harvey Elliott’ to Tottenham as ‘ruthless’ decision to be made
Harvey Elliott’s future at Liverpool remains up in the air.
Arne Slot did not utilise the England Under-21 star last season, handing him just 822 minutes in all competitions.
Liverpool could net more than £54million if they sell Elliott, with the likes of RB Leipzig and Tottenham interested in the Reds ace.
Elliott has agreed terms for an Anfield exit with the German side, but Thomas Frank could enter the race after James Maddison’s brutal injury blow.

This article includes exclusive comments from iconic commentator Ian Darke.
Would Liverpool sell Harvey Elliott to Tottenham?
Elliott has been linked with a Liverpool exit all summer, but so far, nothing has materialised.
Darke believes that the Reds would have no qualms in selling the 22-year-old to Spurs, despite the fact that they are Champions League rivals.
Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, he said: “I think in the case of Harvey Elliott, they probably would if the price was right.
“I don’t think, as good as Harvey Elliott is, in the cold, ruthless light of day, they are going to look at that and think he is going to make the difference.
“I’m not sure Liverpool would see Tottenham as huge challengers to their crown this season. If it were Arsenal or Manchester City, it would be a different kettle of fish.
“Not Tottenham, who were 17th last season, let’s remember, and are still in some kind of transition with the new manager and sorting out new players.
“If the money is right, I think they would let him go. I think they have got to play fair with Harvey Elliott, he has said that if it was left to him, he would play for Liverpool forever, but he wants to make the World Cup squad.
“It is the time in his career where he has got to be a regular for somebody and not just coming on for 15 minutes at the end of games.”

Liverpool owe it to Harvey Elliott to let him leave
If Elliott is not going to be given regular opportunities to shine on Merseyside, then he should be allowed to leave Anfield.
On his day, he is a sublime player, but he has not been handed the chance to showcase that enough, especially since Slot took charge.
For the good of his career, especially his England chances, he deserves to play a starring role rather than a bit-part one.
