Newcastle vs Liverpool: Weather forecast, ticket details and travel information

Liverpool make the trip to St James’ Park to take on Newcastle United in their first away game of the Premier League season.

Arne Slot’s side showed the resilience that made them champions after late goals from Federico Chiesa and Mohamed Salah ensured they survived a scare against Bournemouth at Anfield after surrendering a two-goal lead.

Liverpool’s backline will need to be improved if they want to return to Merseyside with all three points this time around.

Here, Liverpool News shares with you the ticket information, weather forecast and travel details ahead of the highly anticipated Premier League match, set to kick off at 8pm on 25 August.

Away tickets sold out for Newcastle vs Liverpool

Unsurprisingly, Liverpool have sold out their allocation of St James’ Park.

Given the ongoing saga between the two clubs regarding Alexander Isak, it will be a hostile atmosphere for the travelling Scousers as Newcastle’s talisman is expected not to be in the squad again.

Hugo Ekitike has got his Anfield career off to a fantastic start, but Newcastle were also linked with the French forward, and the home fans are going to be sure to remind the 23-year-old of this.

Set to be a warm summer evening for travelling supporters

According to the Met Office on 23 August, there is less than a five per cent chance of rainfall on Monday.

The temperature is said to be around 22 degrees Celsius in the hour before the kick-off and will drop to 19 degrees by the time the full-time whistle blows.

It is meant to be a clear night for the duration that the travelling supporters will see their side in action, before they return home after hopefully seeing Slot’s men win the game.
