Liverpool may have perfect Mohamed Salah replacement after savvy deal agreed
Liverpool are soon to have the heir to Mohamed Salah’s throne who will take the Reds to new heights.
Salah matched Sergio Aguero’s record for the most goals scored at a single Premier League stadium after netting against Bournemouth.
Federico Chiesa inspired the comeback for Liverpool after an Antoine Semenyo double drew the Cherries level at Anfield. The Egyptian sealed the win after rippling the net in the final minutes of stoppage time.
While Salah signed a new contract at Anfield last season, Liverpool may have already found his replacement.

Ben Doak could become Salah replacement
As reported by Sky Sports reporter Mark McAdam via X on 18 August, Ben Doak has completed the first part of his medical after Bournemouth agreed a deal with Liverpool last weekend.
The total package for Doak is worth £25million, and Liverpool have included a buy-back option.
Doak made his first-team debut for the Reds in November 2022, coming on as a substitute in the 74th minute against Derby County in the Carabao Cup.
He went on to make 10 senior appearances for the Reds in all competitions, but has failed to register a goal or assist in any of them. As a result, his transfer to Bournemouth could be the best thing to happen to him and Liverpool.
Under the experienced Andoni Iraola, the winger can perfect his craft with less competition on the flanks. After a healthy number of matches under his belt and a greater understanding of the Premier League, Liverpool will have the perfect Salah replacement for the future should they buy him back.

Will Doak excel at Bournemouth?
Doak is a classic winger who combines dribbling flair with explosive athleticisim to break down defences.
His skillset includes:
- Chance creation: Doak is a high-volume chance creator
- Explosive pace: He is quick and maintains his speed over distance.
- Work rate: Doak is willing to work for the team and enter defensive duels
- Direct dribbling: Doak can dibble efficiently in small and large spaces
Iraola is aggressive in how he lines up at Bournemouth. He switches between a 4-2-3-1 and 4-3-3 formation with an emphasis on high pressing, transitions and attacking intensity.
The Bournemouth coach depolys attacking fullbacks on their flank which could overlap with Doak during attacking sequences. Iraola often allows his wingers to cut inside and score which should help improve Doak’s finishing ability.
Under a tactical manager who is open to youth and fresh methods, the former Liverpool winger could thrive.
