How Liverpool said goodbye to every player this summer after frosty Alexander-Arnold send-off
Trent Alexander-Arnold has not received much support from Liverpool fans since his departure.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, departed Anfield this summer for £10million, with the Reds getting a great deal in the end as the right-back was out of contract.
Despite this, the way the Liverpool academy graduate left the club has left a sour taste in the mouth of Reds fans, as he reportedly agreed to join Madrid months before his departure, not allowing the club to get a fair market value fee for him.
Alexander-Arnold isn’t the only Liverpool player to depart Anfield this summer, and the latest departure has seen fans spot a pattern.

Liverpool continue thankful tributes as Darwin Nunez departure confirmed
Darwin Nunez has officially left Liverpool after three years at the club.
Nunez had a mixed spell at Anfield, as he won the league last season, but will mostly be known for his misses over his goals.
However, the Uruguayan proved clutch in key moments, most notably in a 2-1 victory at Newcastle United, where the Reds were 1-0 down and down to 10 men with just minutes remaining.
Liverpool have wished him well on his new adventure in Saudi Arabia with Al-Hilal, as they have done with several players this summer including Luis Diaz and Jarell Quansah.
However, Alexander-Arnold was not given a wish of good luck in his leaving announcement.
His post read: “Trent Alexander-Arnold has informed Liverpool FC of his intention to leave the club this summer upon the expiry of his current contract.”
Alexander-Arnold can’t have any complaints about frosty treatment following exit
The local lad can’t have any complaints at the club being as damning as they have been to him over his acrimonious departure.
Alexander-Arnold showed the club little respect by negotiating with Real Madrid before the season was completed, especially in the middle of a title race, which could have derailed the season had the Reds not been so far clear of Arsenal.
Most fans can’t see why the right-back would want to leave his boyhood club, and the mega-money signings the Reds have made could see him regret his move to the Spanish capital in the years to come.
