Liverpool v Athletic Club: Ticket information, travel details and weather forecast
Liverpool are set to continue their pre-season preparations when they take on Athletic Club at Anfield.
The Reds return to Merseyside after their pre-season tour of Asia, which included games against AC Milan and Yokohama FM.
Anfield will host a double header on Monday (4 August), with two friendlies for Arne Slot’s side against the La Liga outfit set to take place back-to-back.
With the first game kicking off at 5pm, followed by another at 8pm, Liverpool News shares with you the ticket information, weather forecast and travel details ahead of the pre-season clash.

Anfield ticket information
Tickets for the friendly are sold out, with fans eager to see the likes of Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike in the flesh for the first time.
One ticket grants access to both matches in what is set to be an action-packed evening of football in L4.
Season ticket holders were not guaranteed a ticket for the game and had to purchase one separately if they wanted to see Slot’s new look side in action.
For non-season ticket holders, prices ranged from £5 for juniors to £39 for adults, making it an ideal opportunity for those who cannot attend every week to see their beloved Reds play.
No rain expected for the game
Despite there being light rainfall until 4pm, it is expected to have stopped completely by 7pm.
According to the Met Office (31 July), supporters can expect temperatures ranging from 18 degrees for the start of the first game to around 16 degrees by the time the second match ends.
It is said to feel anywhere between 12 and 15 degrees during the hours both games take place.
No matter the weather, it is expected that plenty of fans will be seen in the new Liverpool kit made by adidas, with the Reds reverting to the brand with the three stripes from August 1.

Matchday guide
As previously mentioned, Anfield hosts two games back to back, so don’t go anywhere after the first full-time whistle!
Public transport will be the easiest way for supporters to attend, with multiple buses operating from within the city centre.
A note for those travelling from outside of Liverpool: Anfield is located in a residential area with a residents’ parking scheme in operation.
Supporters are advised to plan their trips in advance.
Both Sandhills and Kirkdale stations on Merseyrail’s Northern line are a relatively brief walk away from the ground, with the recommended walking routes being signposted.
Both walks are said to be around the 30-minute mark.
