Diaz’s top three Liverpool goals ranked ahead of Bayern Munich move
Luis Diaz is set to join Bayern Munich from Liverpool in a big-money transfer.
The Colombian joined Liverpool in January 2022 and made an instant impact as he helped the Reds challenge for an unprecedented quadruple, ending the season with two trophies to his name.
Diaz is a popular figure at Anfield, but will now depart having expressed a desire to leave, and Liverpool will make a significant profit on the forward.
The winger was involved in some big moments for the Reds over the years, and Liverpool News has now ranked his best three goals.

3. Arsenal 0-2 Liverpool, January 7, 2024
Liverpool enjoyed one of their finest FA Cup away victories in recent years in Jurgen Klopp’s final season, as they beat Arsenal in the third round of the competition in 2024.
Despite being up against it, the Reds hit Arsenal with two late sucker punches, and the second came from Diaz in injury time.
The 28-year-old smashed past Aaron Ramsdale to secure the win, and nearly broke the net with his venomous strike.
2. Liverpool 3-1 Bournemouth, August 19, 2023
Liverpool got off to a good start in the Premier League two years ago as they beat Bournemouth 3-1 at Anfield in their opening home game.
Bournemouth took the lead, but Diaz equalised in the first half with a simply sublime finish.

With the ball crossed behind him, Diaz took a superb touch to flick the ball up, before smashing home with another quick movement, leaving the Bournemouth defence powerless to stop him.
1. Liverpool 1-1 Crystal Palace, August 15, 2022
Although there are a lot of contenders, Diaz’s best goal came in his first year at Anfield, with a truly outstanding individual effort against Crystal Palace.
Liverpool were 1-0 down, and down to 10 men after Darwin Nunez was sent off, but it was Diaz who stepped up to salvage a point.
Picking up the ball on the left wing, Diaz dribbled past several players to move more central, but took himself further away from the box rather than driving inside.
This did not matter, though, as Diaz launched a perfect long-range strike which curled into the bottom corner, and ultimately helped Liverpool save a draw when they appeared to be heading for defeat.
