Jayden Danns ‘writing on the wall’ after Liverpool development
Jayden Danns has had a frustrating 12 months at Liverpool.
While most of the focus this summer is on incomings at Anfield, plenty of attention needs to be reserved for the futures of those who could leave in the coming weeks.
Luis Diaz’s exit looks all but nailed on, with Bayern Munich in the race to sign the Colombian this summer, while the future of several others will also be in doubt.
Hugo Ekitike’s arrival looks set to bolster the forward options at Liverpool, but could also spell the end for Danns, at least temporarily.

Liverpool must sanction Danns’ exit
Danns spent the last campaign on loan at Sunderland, though fans would be forgiven for not knowing that, given the fact that he failed to play a single minute in the Championship.
A back injury prevented the youngster from making any progress last season, and he had been mooted for another exit this summer.
Liverpool U21 | Games | Goals | Assists |
Danns | 13 | 5 | 2 |
That now seems even more likely given that he was absent from the recent pre-season squad, with several attackers ahead of him.
Given his injury troubles and rawness, a loan exit may be the best option for the Reds, though, should a reasonable offer come in, there is a chance that Liverpool could part ways with the striker for good.

Slot is unlikely to utilise Danns
After winning the Premier League last season, Liverpool will be looking to do that again in the current campaign and more.
In all likelihood, Danns would be given very few chances, if any at all, to showcase his ability, leading all the signs to point towards an exit of some sort this summer.
He isn’t the only youngster who could leave, with several promising prospects on the lookout for regular first-team football ahead of the new campaign.
