Arne Slot has ‘Nyoni dilemma’ after new Liverpool footage emerges
Trey Nyoni is one of Liverpool’s brightest talents at the moment.
The 18-year-old made his full senior debut for the Anfield outfit last season, when he started in the 2-1 Carabao Cup quarter-final win against Southampton (18 December).
He has made six appearances for the first team so far and could be set to play a role this season, after leaving Arne Slot impressed in pre-season.

Nyoni shines as Liverpool footage released
Liverpool beat Stoke 5-0 in a behind-closed-doors friendly (20 July), and Nyoni played a starring role.
The young maestro showed a brilliant passing range, with the highlight of his performance being a perfectly weighted pass to Dominik Szoboszlai, who found Darwin Nunez for one of the goals.
The hype surrounding the former Leicester youth star will only increase after footage of the clash was posted by the Reds.
Liverpool have Nyoni problem amid latest footage
Nyoni is highly rated on Merseyside, but if he continues his impressive exploits in pre-season, Slot may have an issue on his hands.
He needs regular first-team football, and he may struggle to get that in L4, with the likes of Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Curtis Jones ahead of him in the pecking order.

The best option to continue his development may well be to send him out on loan, so he can get a full season of senior football under his belt like Ben Doak did last season with Middlesbrough.
However, given the maturity and composure that he showed once again in the match against the Championship outfit, Slot may decide he wants to keep him around.
It is a dilemma that the Dutchman needs to solve, and he may have a better idea after the tour of Hong Kong and Japan, which Nyoni will be a part of after he was named in the 29-man travelling squad, unlike Federico Chiesa.
If he shines again in Asia, though, it may make the decision even harder, given what is at stake; the wrong move could set his development back and make it harder for him to establish himself in the first team.
