Hugo Ekitike and Guehi sign, six leave: Liverpool predicted transfer window

Liverpool could potentially sanction a mini squad overhaul after signing Hugo Ekitike and Marc Guehi this transfer window.

The Eintracht Frankfurt forward could soon arrive at Anfield as the Reds look to bolster their attack ahead of next season.

Guehi’s move from Crystal Palace to the Merseyside outfit has also been mooted, with the centre-back’s current contract expiring next year.

Liverpool to sign Ekitike and Guehi this transfer window

Ekitike has been one of the most exciting prospects in Europe over the years, but a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) derailed his career for a bit.

The French striker can’t be blamed for finding it challenging to get regular game time at the Parc des Princes ahead of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.

Having moved to Frankfurt in 2024, the 23-year-old has found his feet once again, showcasing the potential he has.

As for Guehi, it would make sense for Palace to cash in on the England international this summer if they don’t want to lose him for free next year.

The 25-year-old has been one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League in recent seasons, and it’s no wonder Liverpool want him.

Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez and four more permanent transfers set at Liverpool

Bayern Munich are interested in Luis Diaz, and it looks like the Colombia international also favours a move away from Anfield.

Darwin Nunez will also arguably be surplus to requirements at the Merseyside outfit if Ekitike arrives in the coming days.

Harvey Elliott is unsurprisingly in demand away from Liverpool after his heroics in the Euro Under-21, and it will be interesting to see which club ends up getting his signature.

Ben Doak is one of the youngsters who the Reds may cash in on this summer to balance their books after some significant spending.

Stefan Bajcetic should be looking for a permanent move away from Anfield after some underwhelming loan spells.

Kostas Tsimikas could potentially also be a surprise exit late in the window, with Milos Kerkez and Andy Robertson at Arne Slot’s disposal.

The Anfield faithful will certainly keep a close eye on developments in the ongoing transfer window, with an exciting season ahead.
