Luis Diaz now faces major Liverpool uncertainty after fresh transfer update
Luiz Diaz looks likely to be on the way out at Liverpool this summer.
The winger is reportedly keen on an Anfield exit, with Bayern Munich having an initial bid worth around £58million turned down.
Liverpool are eager to convince Diaz to stay but, following negative contract talks, may be forced to part ways with the Colombian in the coming weeks.

Barcelona turn attention to Rashford
Last season marked Diaz’s best season in a Liverpool shirt since his move from Porto in 2022.
The winger scored 13 goals and provided seven assists in the Premier League for Arne Slot’s team, also scoring a hattrick against Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
But talks over fresh terms for the 28-year-old have stalled, with the two years left on his remaining contract leaving the Reds in a difficult position.
That has attracted the eyes of several European giants, with Barcelona and Bayern among the interested clubs.

But the La Liga champions appear to have now dropped out of the race, instead turning their attentions to Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford.
According to David Ornstein (July 19), a deal that will see the Englishman spend next season on loan at Barcelona is being finalised.
The deal will include an option to buy and will see the Spanish club cover Rashford’s wages in their entirety.
Liverpool have to make decision on Diaz
Liverpool are rapidly approaching crunch time when it comes to making a decision on the future of Diaz.
If the winger refuses to sign a new contract but remains at the club this summer, the Reds may find themselves in a position in which they will be forced to accept a bid below his value next summer.
But attracting the right money for Diaz this summer will not be easy either. Bayern have, so far, appeared reluctant to improve their bid to within the range that Liverpool would see fit.
Real Madrid winger Rodrygo would reportedly be targeted if the Colombian does leave, but a move for the Brazilian would likely command a fee in the region of £80m.
It is a difficult conundrum for Liverpool, and one that will likely drag on throughout the summer.
Nevertheless, Diaz’s situation must be resolved with little hope remaining that a contract agreement can still be found.
