Liverpool ace Cody Gakpo reacts as Premier League rivals Arsenal confirm transfer
Liverpool are favourites to win the Premier League again next season, ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City.
The three clubs have competed against each other for the Premier League title in the last few years, and the Reds strolled to glory last season with Arsenal in second.
Liverpool and Arsenal have both strengthened since, and fans will hope that high-profile additions such as Florian Wirtz can lead them to a second title in a row.
Attacker Cody Gakpo may find his starting role is uncertain as a result, and he has now sent a message to one of Arsenal’s new signings.

Gakpo sends message as Noni Madueke confirms Arsenal move
Arsenal have now confirmed the signing of Noni Madueke from Premier League rivals Chelsea, in a somewhat surprising move.
Madueke failed to make a significant impact at Chelsea after joining from PSV Eindhoven over two years ago, having shown promise with the Dutch side.

The England international played alongside Gakpo before the forward moved to Liverpool from the Eredivisie, and has since shone at Anfield.
Gakpo has now sent a message to his old teammate on Instagram, congratulating him on the move with applause emojis.
Gakpo in line for more starts next season
Luis Diaz is seemingly keen on leaving Liverpool, and while this means a number of new signings may be made, Gakpo could also benefit.
Hugo Ekitike looks set to arrive as a new striker in addition to Wirtz, and Gakpo could slot straight in on the left if Diaz leaves.
Other wingers such as Rodrygo have been linked, but given the changes elsewhere in the lineup, Arne Slot may choose to start the season with Gakpo to maintain some momentum from last season.
Gakpo has scored 41 goals in 130 appearances for the Reds, and will hope to feature more from the start next season.
Forty-two of his appearances have come as substitutes, but despite this, Gakpo has scored some big goals, while also providing a speedy outlet in several positions, and is a popular player among the Liverpool fanbase.
