Wretch 32 sends two-word message as Hinds seals Arsenal transfer after Liverpool exit
Taylor Hinds has completed a move to Arsenal after her Liverpool departure.
The 26-year-old left the Totally Wicked Stadium outfit after making over 100 appearances in a five-year spell on Merseyside.
She has now rejoined the Gunners, whom she left in January 2018 to join Everton, and Amber Whiteley's side will be a lot weaker without their vice-captain.
Wretch 32 sends message after Hinds Liverpool exit
Liverpool supporters will wish Hinds well on her new move, as the Reds are not in a position to compete with the Champions League winners.
Arsenal took to Instagram (7 July) to confirm the free transfer, saying: "You always find your way back."
The famous rapper Wretch 32 liked the post and commented "Welcome back" with two heart emojis and a clapping hands one.
The post was also liked by former Reds ace Missy-Bo Kearns, who joined Aston Villa last summer.
Liverpool need to strengthen after Hinds exit
The Reds' priorities are now clear: they need to strengthen significantly after losing such an influential player; it is a must.
They must extend Fuka Nagano's contract, as she is a key asset in the centre of the park, having made 52 appearances since her move from North Carolina Courage in 2023.
Olivia Smith is another Liverpool star who is attracting interest, although she is under contract until 2027, and the Reds are confident that they can keep the Canadian.
The questions over Whiteley's interim position as manager need to be answered, as they will struggle to sign any players or keep their current stars if the uncertainty continues for much longer.
The L4 outfit must be looking towards the upper echelons of the Women's Super League, which they won under Matt Beard in 2013 and 2014.
They must be in the mix for Champions League qualification; they need sizeable investment in the squad to be able to compete, though, whoever is in the dugout.
Fenway Sports Group need to pay attention to the Women's team and give them what they need to reach where they should be.
They cannot afford to lose another player like Hinds, otherwise it will only set them back in their ambitions to get back to the top.
