
Ozzy Osbourne leads Diogo Jota tribute at Black Sabbath farewell concert
Ozzy Osbourne has joined Liverpool and the rest of the footballing world in paying their respects to Diogo Jota after his tragic death.
Jota’s untimely passing shocked everyone after he and his brother, Andre Silva, were both caught in a traffic accident in Spain.
Many have visited Liverpool to pay their respects, while tributes are pouring in across the world for a much-loved player at Anfield.
Heavy metal legend Ozzy Osbourne was at another Premier League ground, Villa Park, playing the final-ever Black Sabbath show on Saturday, and they also paid their respects to the former striker.

Osbourne pays tribute to Jota before farewell performance
As Osbourne took the stage at Villa Park for his farewell performance, the 76-year-old paid tribute to Jota, with a picture of the Liverpool hero appearing on screen to rapturous applause.
There were a lot of metal superstars in attendance, as acts performed throughout the day at Villa Park in what became a 10-hour set to bid farewell to Black Sabbath.

Liverpool and Wolves fans would certainly have been in attendance, and it was a poignant moment as Jota’s image appeared on the screen, with the attacker holding his hands up to a heart shape.
This was not the only tribute to Jota on the day, as several other acts also paid their respects.
Yungblud and Nuno Bettencourt dedicate song to Jota
Earlier in the day at Villa Park, a ‘supergroup’ containing a variety of big-name musicians in rock and metal performed Black Sabbath songs, and they led the way with nods to Jota following his passing.
Portuguese-American guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, of the band Extreme, wore a Liverpool shirt with Jota’s name on the back during his performance on stage.
Vocalist Yungblud also performed Black Sabbath’s song Changes alongside Bettencourt and dedicated the song to Jota.
Tributes have been paid in and out of the footballing world, with Oasis also dedicating Live Forever to the Liverpool hero during their first concert after 16 years.
Representatives from Everton also visited Anfield to lay flowers and pay their respects, in a show of solidarity within the Liverpool community during a difficult time.
Jota will never walk alone.
