Liverpool legend Phil Thompson has reacted after the death of Diogo Jota was confirmed.
The 28-year-old was confirmed to have passed away on Thursday (3 July) after being involved in a devastating car crash in Cernadilla, in the province of Zamora.
This saw the forward and his brother, André Silva, die in a crash in the early hours of the morning, with emergency services confirming the fatalities at around 12.35am.
This has sparked an outpouring of emotion from Merseyside and beyond, with Thompson among a whole host of stars to pay tribute to Jota.
