Man United player sends message as Liverpool reach agreement

Manchester United and Liverpool have always had a heated rivalry.

Liverpool’s Premier League title last season now means that the two clubs are tied on top division titles.

As a result of their recent success, the Reds have often got the better of their rivals on the pitch too.

Liverpool beat Man United 3-0 at Old Trafford last season, in one of many runaway victories at Manchester in recent times.

However, the derby has not stopped players from both teams staying in touch.

Ayden Heaven reacts as Trey Nyoni signs new Liverpool deal

Trey Nyoni became the latest Liverpool player to sign a new contract on Monday.

The 18-year-old made history at Anfield last season when he became the club’s youngest-ever player to make an appearance in a European competition.

The midfielder also impressed in Liverpool’s academy and made 15 appearances in the Premier League 2, where he scored twice and picked up one assist.

Nyoni was active in both the academy and the first team last season

Now, after signing a new long-term contract at the Reds, Nyoni took to Instagram (30 June) to react to the news.

The 18-year-old posted a photo of himself in a Liverpool top with the caption: “Forever grateful.”

Manchester United starlet Ayden Heaven was quick to react to this news, and he responded with two red hearts in the comment section.

Nyoni has a massive future under Arne Slot

Nyoni has already made numerous first-team appearances at Liverpool and clearly has a massive future at the Merseyside club.

Since making his debut under Jurgen Klopp in February 2024, the midfielder has only got better and is likely to play a part in the upcoming season.

Hopefully, Arne Slot can continue to find ways to give Nyoni minutes and aid his development.

If so, Nyoni could easily go on to become one of the best players at Anfield in the coming years.
