Morgan Rogers reacts to Harvey Elliott post amid Liverpool transfer speculation
Morgan Rogers has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool this summer.
The Reds have already added Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez to their squad but could enter the market again if the right opportunity comes along.
Rogers would represent an opportunistic signing, given Aston Villa’s problems with Profit and Sustainability regulations and his impressive contributions last season.
Meanwhile, Harvey Elliott struggled for gametime at Anfield in the Premier League title-winning campaign, featuring for just 822 minutes in all competitions.

Rogers reacts as Elliott stars for England
Elliott starred in England U21’s European Championship success, picking up the Player of the Tournament award after his five goals across six games.
The Reds star took to Instagram (28 June) to send a message after notching the opener in the final, saying:
Villa star Rogers reacted to the post by liking it, which may serve to increase transfer speculation.
Liverpool could still make Rogers move
Rogers could still join Arne Slot’s side, despite Wirtz completing his £116million move from Germany, as the Reds still need attacking recruits.
The likes of Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz have continued to be linked with exits, meaning that Fenway Sports Group may not be done spending just yet, after already spending around £200m.
The B6 outfit could be willing to sell Rogers if an offer that was significant came in, with iconic commentator Ian Darke telling Liverpool News that it would need to be a huge markup on the £8-10m that Villa paid for him.
Rogers in en route to superstardom, and his versatility to play either from the 10, on the left or as a false nine would make him an attractive addition for Slot and Co.
If the Villans ace does make the move, Elliott may not be among the Reds squad to see it, and he could move the other way as Unai Emery’s side are understood to be interested in his services.
The L4 outfit are likely to demand around £40m if Elliott departs for regular first-team football after an underwhelming personal campaign.
