Darwin Nunez sends four-word message amid Liverpool exit talk, Luis Diaz reacts
Darwin Nunez could finally put his Liverpool nightmare behind him this summer.
The 25-year-old has failed to hit the heights that were expected of him at Anfield, notching 40 goals and 26 assists in 143 appearances.
He struggled for regular game time last season, with Arne Slot calling out his discipline and work rate on several occasions during the Premier League title-winning campaign.
The Reds have been linked with the likes of Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike, and that could signal that the Uruguayan’s time on Merseyside is up.

Nunez sends message as Liverpool exit talk continues
Nunez continues to be linked with a Liverpool exit, with Napoli seemingly set to firm up their interest in the coming weeks.
The misfiring striker took to Instagram (28 June) to send a message as links to an exit refuse to go away, saying: “I don’t need more.”
His Reds teammate Luis Diaz reacted to the post by liking it.
Former Anfield stars Naby Keita and Arthur Melo also liked the post.
Liverpool must rid of Nunez this summer
Michael Edwards and Richard Hughes must find a way to get rid of the forward before the new season starts.
He has had enough chances to get his career back on track in L4 and miserably failed each time, there can be no more reprieves for Nunez.
Nunez started just eight times in the top-flight last season, notching five goals and two assists in a total of 30 appearances, which is not good enough for a player who cost around the £64million mark.
If the Reds can bank a decent fee for his services, they can put it towards a deal for either Isak or Ekitike, who would certainly be better options than the former Benfica star.
The champions have already stolen a march on their rivals with the signings of Jeremie Frimpong, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez, but a number nine would take them to a completely new level.
It must be their next priority to offload the 35-cap international and use the money to complete Slot’s perfect line-up and put themselves in pole position to retain their crown and potentially add the Champions League to the Dutchman’s CV.
