Liverpool ‘to take millions from Bayern Munich’ after Florian Wirtz steal
Liverpool are set to take advantage of Bayern Munich’s desperation in the transfer market.
The Reds beat the German giants to the signing of Florian Wirtz and now look set to gain another advantage over their European rivals.
Bayern will be furious after missing out on the former Bayer Leverkusen man to the Reds and are now searching for different options, which could benefit Arne Slot’s side financially.

Bayern Munich discussing a deal for Luis Diaz
Liverpool may be able to offload one of their want-away stars to Bayern for the right price.
That is because Luiz Diaz now appears to be a player that Bayern Munich are targeting.
As reported by Christian Falk via X (22 June), the Colombian is thought to be one of the names that Vincent Kompany’s side have under consideration.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move away from Liverpool for quite some time, and Bayern could be a real possibility.
Diaz is thought to be available for £67.6million, with FSG not wanting to be short-changed on any potential sale.
The Bundesliga winners are currently scouring the market for another attacker, after missing out on Wirtz. Liverpool signing the 22-year-old for a record fee was a real statement of intent, particularly after beating out Bayern for his services.
And selling Diaz to Bayern would be another shrewd piece of business by Liverpool.
Diaz to be replaced in revamped attack
Liverpool are not resting on their laurels when it comes to this summer’s transfer market.
Diaz may not be the only player from Slot’s side heading for an Anfield exit. Darwin Nunez is expected to leave, and both Diogo Jota and Harvey Elliot’s futures are unclear.
Signing Wirtz appears to be just the first step in overhauling their attacking options. A blockbuster move for Alexander Isak has been rumoured as a marquee centre forward signing for the Reds.
Meanwhile, Hugo Ekitike is also a target for Liverpool as they look to reinvent their forward line ahead of next season.
