Alexander Isak ‘will want to join Liverpool’ with double transfer now on cards
Alexander Isak would be a dream addition for Liverpool this summer.
Arne Slot has wasted no time in getting to work in the transfer market ahead of the new campaign.
Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz have already made the moves to Anfield, with Milos Kerkez expected to be next, as spending nears £200million.
The Dutchman will not be stopping there, though, and the Premier League champions have been linked with a move for Isak for some time.

Isak transfer will be difficult for Liverpool
Liverpool may be keen on Isak this summer, but as Newcastle’s star striker this season, they will not be eager to let him go.
Any potential deal for the Swedish forward would have to be safely over the £100million mark to even get Newcastle’s attention.
Given the Reds have already spent a fair bit of money this summer, breaking their record fee for the signing of Wirtz, it’s not something that will be done off the cuff.
However, there is no doubt that the addition of the 25-year-old would make Liverpool unstoppable and getting him as he prepares to enter his prime cannot be underestimated.
While the Merseyside outfit have a decision to make, Fabrizio Romano has poured some water onto the fire as he told the Market Madness podcast: “Liverpool would try to go for Isak [if he became available], but at the moment I don’t have this feeling.
“The club, too, from what I’m hearing, see it as a very, very difficult deal.”
Liverpool can attract Isak with another transfer
Liverpool can’t afford to put all of their attention on Isak this summer, and there are plenty of other targets that the boss is keen on.
One of those is Marc Guehi, with the Reds expected to make a significant offer to Crystal Palace for his services.
Crystal Palace are another side that won’t want to part ways with a star, as they rejected several bids from Newcastle to secure his services last summer.
However, should Liverpool be successful in their aims, it could be the message that Isak needs to prompt him to choose where his future lies.

Eddie Howe’s men are expected to open new contract talks with Isak this summer in the hope of securing him on a longer deal to protect themselves and keep the striker happy by reflecting his value in a wage increase.
Should Slot’s men show that they can secure the types of additions Newcastle can’t get over the line, though, this could well throw a spanner in the works when it comes to Isak committing his future to the Magpies, suddenly putting more pressure on offers for their star man.
Liverpool will be eager to keep their eyes on any developments for Isak, but similarly, he may have one eye on Anfield and the right moves could turn his head.
