‘Liverpool to enter era of dominance’ with Isak and Guehi double deal
Liverpool could be on the verge of entering one of the best periods in their history.
Florian Wirtz is all but confirmed as a Liverpool player.
The signing of left-back Milos Kerkez is also close to completion, with Jeremie Frimpong already signed as Trent-Alexander Arnold’s replacement at right-back.
If Liverpool did not make another signing after these three, they would still likely be the favourites to retain the Premier League.
However, the Reds are not showing any signs of slowing down in the market, and if the other players linked to Anfield eventually sign, Liverpool could turn into one of the most unstoppable Premier League sides of all time overnight.

Alexander Isak and Marc Guehi signings would be ridiculous
Liverpool are looking increasingly likely to sign Isak from Newcastle after the odds were recently slashed regarding the potential move.
Guehi could also be set to move to Merseyside after the Reds look to be parting ways with Jarell Quansah, who is tipped to join Bayer Leverkusen.
The prospect of Mohamed Salah, Isak, and Luis Diaz being Arne Slot’s front three next season, with Wirtz just behind them, is simply outrageous.
Guehi is a centre half who would start for the majority of teams in the Premier League. However, the England international would have to fight for his place with Ibrahima Konate to start alongside Virgil van Dijk.
Liverpool’s fullbacks were critical to their success, particularly under Jurgen Klopp.
But with Frimpong being one of the standout full-backs in Europe in recent years and Kerkez being recently nominated in the top six for PFA young player of the year after his campaign at Bournemouth, these positions are also seemingly in safe hands.

Liverpool on the verge of making history
If Liverpool manage to sign Isak and Guehi, along with the other signings that are pretty much wrapped up, this would go down as the best transfer window in the club’s history.
One that could potentially see the Reds dominate football for years to come.
Unsurprisingly, a summer window of this calibre would be very expensive, and if Liverpool have to sell the likes of Darwin Nunez and Harvey Elliot to facilitate some of these moves, then they should not hesitate to do so.
Fitting all of these superstars in the same team, without compromising the chemistry and work ethic, could prove to be a headache for Slot, but a headache that most managers would dream of.
Under FSG, most of Liverpool’s signings have been quality players with room for further development, and this is still the case for most.
But with Wirtz and Isak, these are two already established world-class players in their position and seeing all of these shiny new toys in one team is a terrifying prospect for other clubs.
