‘FSG to secure Premier League title for Liverpool’ amid ‘significant’ Guéhi news
Liverpool are already preparing to fight for their 21st league title next season, with a remarkable transfer window taking place.
Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have already achieved remarkable business for Liverpool in the summer transfer window, with the record-breaking signing of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and the additions of Milos Kerkez and Jeremie Frimpong.
The American sports group are backing Arne Slot’s second year in charge with significant incomings to Anfield, as the Reds remain favourites for retaining the title next season.
The departure of star players is expected from Merseyside this summer, but the club are already lining up replacements.
In the latest news, Liverpool are eyeing up a replacement for Jarell Quansah who is set to leave, after struggling to find form and game time under Slot.
The 22-year-old has attracted interest from Newcastle United and Bayer Leverkusen, with the Reds expecting at least £40million for the defender.

Liverpool set to make ‘significant offer’ for Quansah replacement
Liverpool have set their sights on Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guéhi as a replacement for Quansah.
As reported by the Telegraph (19 June), Liverpool are expected to make a significant offer for the England international.
Guéhi, who has established himself as a reliable centre-back for both Crystal Palace and England, attracted interest from Liverpool last summer.
After joining Crystal Palace in 2022, the England centre-back has performed impressively and captained the Eagles in their FA Cup final victory this season.
He is set to leave the Eagles this summer with one year left on his contract, as Crystal Palace have recently expressed interest in Sporting Lisbon centre-back Ousmane Diomande to take over Guéhi’s defensive role.
The 24-year-old has been a long-term target of Newcastle and his former club, Chelsea; however, Crystal Palace’s valuation has never been met after a £55million bid, with £15million in add-ons, from Tottenham was turned down in January.

Guéhi would be a remarkable signing for Liverpool
Liverpool certainly have made headlines already this summer, but adding Guéhi to Slot’s team would be another remarkable signing.
Guéhi has developed incredible experience across his time at Crystal Palace and throughout his 23 senior appearances for England, making him reliable and valuable for Liverpool’s backline next season.

Liverpool do need long-term reinforcements in their defence, with the exit of Trent-Alexander Arnold and with Konate’s contract expiring next summer.
If Liverpool can secure a successful deal for Guéhi it could become a crucial signing for Slot’s second year in charge, and shows the Reds are serious about earning their 21st league title.
