At just 20 years old, Fofana netted 11 times last season and helped Lyon reach the Europa League quarter-finals.
On top of this, Fbref (17 June) shows that the attacker is one of the top players in multiple areas compared to other stars in his position.
On average last season, per 90 minutes, he was averaging 0.47 non-penalty goals, 0.21 assists, making 6.72 progressive carries and 6.08 touches in the opposition penalty area.

Liverpool need to go all out for Fofana
Slot needs to ensure that Fofana is a Liverpool player by the transfer window’s end.
A player of his ability at just 20 years old is extremely rare, and the winger has every chance of becoming one of the best players in the world in the future.
With other Premier League sides eyeing up Fofana, Liverpool simply cannot lose this race and should go all out for his signature.
Hopefully, Slot understands this and gets the signing over the line as soon as possible.
