Liverpool called out after remarkable Florian Wirtz contract details reveal
Florian Wirtz has become the centre of fresh Liverpool transfer talk after surprising contract details quietly surfaced.
With rumoured departures and incomings, Arne Slot’s side have had a very busy summer so far.
As the new season fast approaches, Liverpool will look to strengthen their squad if they hope to defend their Premier League title.

Wirtz contract details revealed
Wirtz has arrived in a mega-money deal, with more details on the record transfer emerging by the day.
Liverpool has agreed a deal worth up to £116m for the German forward, including add-ons.
However, amid suggestions by Swiss Ramble that Wirtz is on a salary of £200,000 a week, plus £50,000 in bonuses, football finance expert Stefan Borson questioned that figure.
Posting via his personal X account (16 June), Borson said: “This is a great explaining, but I’m afraid there is no chance Wirtz is going to be paid £250k including bonuses regardless of what Liverpool’s brief is.
“Liverpool pay this group more than £200million per annum (averaging £350,000).
The rumoured deal would place the 22-year-old as the fourth-highest-paid player at Liverpool.
This could raise eyebrows among some, as he is someone who has yet to prove himself in the Premier League.
Liverpool pay £200m each year on wages for the squad of players they have at Anfield now.
With the rumoured pay that has been released, it may put pressure on Wirtz to perform in the Premier League as it is the most competitive league in the world.

Slot will strengthen the Liverpool squad further
After winning the league last season in his first campaign, Slot is clearly not messing around; instead, he’s actively strengthening his squad ahead of next season.
Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Andy Robertson are among the rumoured departures.
Slot has already brought in replacements for the outgoings at Anfield.
Trent Alexander-Arnold left for Real Madrid, and Liverpool immediately named Jeremie Frimpong as his replacement.
Wirtz would improve the Liverpool squad, as he would join Liverpool after coming off a campaign where the German contributed to 30 goals in all competitions for Leverkusen.
This highlights his all-around attacking threat.
Between Diaz and Nunez, in the Premier League this season, they contributed 21 times (goals and assists).
Slot cannot trust Nunez, and being able to bring in an attacking player who can finish consistently is crucial for Liverpool next season.
