Liverpool Exclusive: Nunez exit on after remarkable Anfield deal – ‘Oh my God’
Darwin Nunez is growing ever closer to departing Liverpool in the summer.
The Reds are seemingly looking to have a summer of change after winning the Premier League with ease in Arne Slot’s first campaign.
This has already begun with Jeremie Frimpong and only looks likely to get better when the main transfer window opens up in just days’ time.
With the summer in mind, it could be a big-money sale that is utilised to fund the additions, with Nunez potentially on his way out of L4.

Nunez set for Liverpool exit after transfer update
There is no shortage of frustration surrounding the Uruguay international, who has struggled ever since completing a blockbuster move from Benfica.
Across his three years at Anfield, the 25-year-old has struggled to ever hit a positive run of form, netting just five times in a league-winning campaign last time around.

As a result, a sale could be assessed in the summer, especially with Slot set to put his own stamp on the squad he inherited from Jurgen Klopp.
This looks set to take a huge boost with the signing of Florian Wirtz, in a deal which has left former midfielder Martin Allen blown away, but seemingly spells bad news for Nunez.
Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, Allen said: “There have been plenty of rumours that Nunez is going to leave and be moved on.
“So, the money they get from him is going into another centre-forward.
“With Liverpool signing Wirtz, oh my god, he is a fantastic player. They are signing a top, top player there.
“It’s likely that he’s coming in and Nunez is going out because he just hasn’t scored enough goals.
“His work rate and ethic have created chances, so have his teammates, but he hasn’t put them away, so we’ll see what happens there.“

Wirtz to replace Nunez at Liverpool
There is no shortage of excitement surrounding the prospect of signing the Germany international from Bayer Leverkusen ahead of the new campaign.
Alongside Frimpong, Wirtz could prove to be the signing that takes Liverpool to the next level, even after winning the Premier League this campaign.
If the attacking midfielder is to join, it would likely represent the end of the road for Nunez, who has never quite clicked under Slot.
There is every chance that this could spark a potential move for someone like Viktor Gyokeres, depending on what sort of fee the L4 club can get for the Uruguayan.
