Liverpool react as ‘time comes for Harvey Elliott to leave Anfield’ – Exclusive
Harvey Elliott could leave Liverpool this summer.
The 22-year-old has struggled to force his way into Arne Slot’s plans this season despite his immense talent.
The former Fulham academy graduate featured 18 times in the Premier League title-winning campaign, notching one goal and two assists in 360 minutes of action.
The England Under-21 star admitted that he could seek a move away from Liverpool in the transfer window for the sake of his career.

Liverpool face Elliott dilemma as West Ham move mooted
West Ham have been touted as a perfect destination for Elliott by former England star Stuart Pearce as doubts emerge about his Anfield future.
Iconic commentator Ian Darke believes that move would make sense for both parties but that the Reds may not want to sell him.
Speaking exclusively to Liverpool News, he said: “I think he is a terrific player and I do understand his frustrations, he is not a kid anymore, where he doesn’t want to just be playing these cameo roles off the bench.
“I mean the cameo roles he has carried out to quite great effect at times, I witnessed the goal in Paris, against Paris Saint-Germain.
“The time has come for him to fly the nest, and I don’t think anybody should have any bad blood about it, and I’d perfectly understand if he was to turn up at West Ham, he has got to the point where he needs to be a regular starter in the Premier League.”
“I think he could (fit in at West Ham) from that right side, although I think Bowen is at his most effective off the right there, cutting in with his left foot, although he can play through the middle as well or they can find a way of operating another way.
“I think if he does become available and Liverpool are prepared to (sanction a departure), I don’t think they would be that keen to let him go, if I am honest, he is too useful to have on the bench.
“I don’t think they would be in a tearing rush to let him go but if he did go, I think would be a queue of clubs that want to sign him.”
Elliott should be given Liverpool chance
Slot has gotten the majority of things right since he moved to Merseyside last summer but his treatment of Elliott has been bizarre.
The young star deserved more game time, but that looks unlikely with Dominic Szoboszlai and potential new addition Florian Wirtz ahead of him in the pecking order.
A move seems to be the best outcome for both parties, but the L4 outfit could come to regret that choice if he goes on to star with a rival club in the future.
