West Ham United ‘to pave way for Luis Diaz exit at Liverpool’ after confirmed deal
Luis Diaz has been linked with an Anfield exit since the end of Liverpool’s Premier League-winning campaign.
The Colombian played a vital role in the Reds’ title victory, as he scored 13 goals in the division.
However, with Liverpool bringing in Florian Wirtz for a record fee, speculation has arisen regarding his future at Anfield.
Barcelona have been linked with signing Diaz, and now the Catalan side have received a boost in their pursuit.

West Ham’s purchase of Todibo gives Barcelona hope of signing Diaz
With transfer happening left, right and centre this summer, Liverpool are not the only club doing business.
West Ham have made Jean-Clair Todibo a permanent acquisition at the London Stadium, as per the terms of his initial loan agreement from Nice.
According to Mundo Deportivo’s print edition (13 June), this is set to give Barcelona a big boost in their pursuit of Diaz due to a sell-on fee.

The Frenchman previously played for the Spanish side between 2019-21.
As a result of his departure from Nice, the Catalan club has netted 20 per cent of the sale, coming to £6.8million.
On top of this, Como have exercised their option to buy loanee Alex Valle, providing more money for Barcelona.
With the Spanish giants having further sell-on percentages in numerous other stars around Europe, the Catalan side have financial room to operate this summer.
With this, Barcelona hope to sign Luis Diaz, and may even have enough money to make further important additions elsewhere.

Diaz will realistically leave Liverpool this summer
With numerous big-name attackers reportedly being scouted out by Liverpool, it is hard to see a future where Diaz is at Anfield by the end of the summer.
The winger is 28 years old, and this could be the last chance the Reds have of making a decent profit on the Colombian.
On top of this, he may struggle to get into the starting XI next season which will tank his value if he isn’t sold.
After Arne Slot has spent so much money, it would make sense if Liverpool looked to get some back through a Diaz sale.
