Liverpool news round-up: Nunez payday update shared as another set to quit Anfield
Liverpool are set for a huge summer transfer window, with a number of players set to both arrive and depart Anfield.
Fenway Sports Group are set to back Arne Slot to retain his Premier League title with significant additions.
Jeremie Frimpong has already been signed, while deals for Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz are at an advanced stage.
Meanwhile, in terms of outgoings, Caoimhin Kelleher has already departed and there is expected to be more activity on that front in the near future.
Here, Liverpool News rounds up the latest transfer news from the Anfield outfit.

Richards hits back over Wirtz fee
Liverpool are close to signing Florian Wirtz in a mega-money deal, with a reported fee of around £120million on the cards.
That has attracted significant attention, with many criticising the champions for spending that much on one player.
However, former Manchester City star Micah Richards has defended Liverpool. Speaking on the Rest is Football, he said: “Yeah, he’s worth it. Obviously, he’s got to do it in a league which is more physical. That is my only doubt. Tactically, he’s got it, technically, he’s got it.”
Bournemouth teammate shares Kerkez update
Milos Kerkez is widely expected to move to Liverpool – it is seemingly a matter of when, rather than if, he will make the switch.
His Bournemouth teammate Justin Kluivert shared an update on the potential Anfield move while on international duty with the Netherlands.
Speaking to VoetbalPrimeur (10 June) after the 8-0 win against Malta, he said: “He’ll probably go there. I hope so for him.
“He hasn’t really said goodbye yet, but I hope he’ll make it happen there.”
Liverpool set Darwin Nunez exit price
Liverpool are seeking £59million to allow Darwin Nunez to leave in the summer transfer window.
A new report claims that Atletico Madrid and Saudi Arabian clubs are interested in Nunez, who cost the Anfield outfit around £85m.
It states that the Reds will not allow the 25-year-old to leave in a cut-price deal, despite his underwhelming stint on Merseyside.
The player is keen on moving to Italy or Spain rather than taking a Saudi payday, according to the report.

Quansah could leave Liverpool this summer
Jarell Quansah could leave Liverpool after falling out of favour under Slot.
The young English centre-back enjoyed a tremendous breakthrough campaign with Jurgen Klopp at the helm but found his opportunities limited this season.
A report from Florian Plettenburg (11 June) claims that Bayer Leverkusen are considering a move for the England Under-21 star and have held talks with the Reds.
