Scotland media wowed after what Andy Robertson did away from Liverpool
Andy Robertson earned rave reviews for his display in Scotland’s 4-0 win over Liechtenstein on Monday.
The Anfield star was slammed after the 3-1 defeat to Iceland on Friday (6 June), however, he bounced back to redeem himself.
Steve Clarke’s side brushed away the minnows to restore confidence ahead of the World Cup Qualifiers against Denmark and Belarus in September.
The Reds ace has struggled at times this season but was back to his best on international duty.

Robertson shines away from Liverpool
Robertson has seen his influence decline for the Premier League champions recently but he reminded everybody of what he still has in the tank for his country.
After a dismal display in the previous clash, he returned to his usual level and captained the Scots to a resounding victory.
The Scotsman awarded the Reds star a 7/10, saying: “His dangerous corner caused havoc early on, and led to the opening goal. He linked very well with McGinn throughout and offered variation in his passing. A much improved performance from Friday.”
The Scottish Daily Mail also gave the 32-year-old a 7/10, saying: “Played on the front foot, always probing and looking for space ahead. A focused, professional display by the skipper.”
Meanwhile, The Herald handed him a 6/10 rating, saying: “Scotland captain was given a noticeable amount of space to attack the opposition, particularly in the first half. Robertson forayed up and down the left-hand side throughout his time on the park, whipping several crosses into the box before he was replaced by Sassuolo’s Josh Doig just before the hour mark.”
The Edinburgh News also gave him a 6/10, saying: “Broke forward at will. Wasn’t at his best from set-pieces, but can be forgiven when taking his long season into account. Subbed after 58 mins.”

Liverpool have tough decision to make on Robertson
The L4 outfit are keen to bring Milos Kerkez in this summer, which could lead to an exit for the former Hull City star.
Robertson will forever go down in the history books on Merseyside for his exploits since his £8.5million move, winning two league titles and a Champions League.
However, he is far from the peak of his powers and has been steadily declining for the last few seasons, and Arne Slot could decide to let him leave if he does not fancy a reduced role.
Iconic commentator Ian Darke told Liverpool News that the Scotland captain is unlikely to accept a back-up role and could move on this summer.
His time at the elite level could be running out, but he proved that he can still operate at that level in his latest display for his national team, which could give Slot something to think about.
However, the quality of the opposition must also be taken into account, and it does not help his case that the losers are ranked 205th in the FIFA World Rankings.
