Luis Diaz to be ‘convinced’ by Al-Nassr with new Cristiano Ronaldo promise
Luis Diaz could be set to leave Anfield this summer.
All the attention at Liverpool is currently on those coming into Anfield, adding to Arne Slot’s squad for next season.
Jeremie Frimpong has already completed a move to Anfield, and Florian Wirtz is expected to be close behind in a club-record transfer fee.
With Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk having also stayed put, supporters will be feeling optimistic about their chances of winning a second successive league title.
However, there may still be departures from Merseyside too.

Diaz attracting Saudi attention
Diaz was a core part of the Reds’ outfit this season and certainly had his part to play in seeing Liverpool lift the Premier League title.
However, his form has caught the eye of those away from England who are looking to continue raising their profile globally.

The 28-year-old has expressed that he is happy at Anfield, but the Saudi league can always be tempting, on the offer of wages alone.
It is reported that Al-Nassr are keen to gain the attacker’s services this summer, with him being identified as their top target.
Diaz’s current contract runs until 2027, and with some big outgoings this summer, it could be an attractive prospect to cash in.
Diaz to be tempted by Cristiano Ronaldo factor
Al-Nassr are, of course, well known for being home to Cristiano Ronaldo and the prospect of playing alongside him is surely exciting for any player.
However, the Saudi Pro-League outfit has gone one further, with Fabrizio Romano (2 June) claiming that Diaz is one of the targets that would be used to convince Ronaldo to extend his stay.
Romano states that it is one move that could lead to the Portuguese green-lighting signing a new contract.
Although the attacker is well-loved on Merseyside, it’s fair to say that Salah is the star of the show going forward, while van Dijk is appreciated too, as the club captain.
Therefore, the prospect of being brought into Al-Nassr with the credit of being good enough to convince Ronaldo to stick around and be his teammate could prove to be an ego booster ahead of a move.
Diaz could stay put and continue his progress with Liverpool, but being used as an attraction for Ronaldo could prove to be a very tempting offer.
It may be time to cash in.
