Liverpool fans all say the same thing on Ben Doak to Everton transfer news

Ben Doak could cross the divide between Liverpool and Everton this summer.

David Moyes‘ side are interested in the Reds winger, who shone on loan at Middlesbrough before injury ended his campaign in February.

The last player to move between the two Merseyside clubs was Abel Xavier all the way back in 2002 but Arne Slot‘s side could sanction a deal.

Everton could make move for Liverpool star Doak

The Toffees have been constantly linked with a move for the Anfield ace, who is just 19 years old and has huge potential.

It seems like their interest is serious because it refuses to go away, and Moyes is pushing for the deal to happen.

A report from Sky Sports (2 June) claims that the Blues are keen to sign Doak in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool fans do not want to sell Doak to Everton

Given the rivalry between the two teams, there is little surprise that Reds supporters do not want to sell Doak to the Goodison Park outfit.

The majority of Reds supporters would only sell Doak to the Blues if Jarrad Branthwaite came in the other direction.

Given that the Toffees want around £80million for the defender, it would be Slot’s side having to put up money to make that deal happen.

That outcome seems very unlikely because they are already plotting moves for Milos Kerkez and Florian Wirtz, having already wrapped up Jeremie Frimpong, and centre-back is not necessarily a target position in this window.

Virgil van Dijk is sticking around and he is partnered by Ibrahima Konate, who has established himself as one of the world’s best in the position.

The Blues ace would want to start and he would not get the chance to oust those two, so it is a non-starter, and he is more likely to move to Chelsea, Manchester United or even join Trent Alexander-Arnold at Real Madrid.

If they are to sell Doak at all, it would be very disappointing due to his huge potential, but they definitely should not sell to Everton, as if he became a superstar with their rivals, it would leave a very sour taste for the fans.
