Liverpool fans rage as Alexander-Arnold sends farewell message – ‘Narcissist’
Trent Alexander-Arnold will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old is set to depart the Anfield club when his contract expires on 30 June.
The England star is widely expected to join Real Madrid and the Spanish giants could still agree an early exit with the Reds so that he can play in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Alexander-Arnold sends Liverpool exit message
Alexander-Arnold will be ending a 20-year association with his boyhood club when he embarks on a new challenge, having won everything there is to win with them.
The Reds star took to his personal X account (28 May) to share a message after Monday’s Premier League title parade through the city.
He said: “Perfect send off. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I love my city.”
Liverpool fans slam Alexander-Arnold after exit decision
It is safe to say that the majority of Liverpool supporters are still hurt by their homegrown star’s decision to move on.
The reaction to his latest post was filled with hatred and many accused the Three Lions ace of being a narcissist, considering that the post was all about himself.
I love Klopp, Robbo, Salah but they truly enabled this narcissist.

I don’t think Trent has the capacity to feel gratitude at all. #LFC https://t.co/JxRlvkYWUy
It was a celebration for everyone. It was NOT a send off for you.

Love it so much you engineered a free transfer two years ago and turned your back on the fans?

The celebration wasn’t about you buddy or your “Summer of 66”. See ya!

It will be a huge challenge for Arne Slot and Richard Hughes to replace his impact on the pitch, but the emotional effect off of it, is much more important.
Alexander-Arnold is one of their own, and for many, he is turning his back on their club for their pursuit of wider fame and fortune and they cannot understand it.
As Jamie Carragher stated earlier in the season, the pinnacle for a Scouser should be winning the most trophies possible with one of the two Merseyside clubs, that is a view shared by many in the city.
The 33-cap international is not leaving for a club that has no rivalry with the Reds, they have been beaten twice in their last three Champions League finals by Los Blancos, so the fury is understandable.
It is a damning indictment of the modern game, that a player would rather leave their local team that are fighting for the highest honours than stick around and become one of the greatest legends that supporters have ever seen.
