Sky Sports journalist shocked by Liverpool transfer news, Kaveh Solhekol updates
Liverpool are set for a busy transfer window this summer.
Fenway Sports Group are set to back Arne Slot to improve his squad as he attempts to defend the Premier League title.
The likes of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez have been linked with the Reds already but they may have to make sales to secure all of their targets.

Kelleher exit development leaves Sky Sports reporter stunned
Caoimhin Kelleher is expected to leave Anfield with the likes of Leeds United and West Ham interested in his services.
A report from Sky Sports (28 May) claims that Brentford have entered the race for the Irish international’s signature and made an approach to sign him.
Anton Toloui expressed his shock at the move, saying: “I must say when I seen this news today, about Brentford possibly making a move for Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher that caught me slightly by surprise, just explain the moving parts here.
Kaveh Solhekol confirmed the approach, saying: “They have made an approach to Liverpool and the reason behind that is Bayer Leverkusen are trying to sign the Brentford goalkeeper Mark Flekken.”

Liverpool to sanction Kelleher exit
It would not be a surprise if Kelleher departs Merseyside this summer, he has constantly spoken of his desire to play regular first-team football.
The 26-year-old is not going to achieve that ambition with the Reds as he is behind Alisson in the pecking order and Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to arrive from Valencia, meaning he will be relegated for third-choice.
A deal makes sense for both parties, the Irishman has served the Anfield club with distinction when he has been called upon, making 10 top-flight appearances this season and helping them to the title.
He has also proven his level in several cup triumphs, starting in the 2022 FA Cup and Carabao Cup finals and once again in the 2024 triumph in the latter competition.
He even scored the winning penalty against Chelsea in one of those appearances after Kepa Arrizabalaga had skied his attempt.
He deserves the chance to showcase his abilities week in, week out for a top team and Slot and Co could use the funds to reinforce their squad in the transfer market, rather than standing in his way.
The career back-up should be handed an opportunity to step out of the shadows and be the main man somewhere else, not warming the bench once again, with an even harder route to the first team.
