Liverpool most likely 2025-26 Premier League position predicted already
Liverpool earned their 20th league title this season, with fans already looking forward to the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
Arne Slot’s first year in charge was a resounding success, guiding the Reds to the title after narrowly missing out last season and in 2021/22.
Liverpool were crowned champions at Anfield after a commanding 5-1 victory over Tottenham back in April. However, their form has dipped, having failed to win a game since.
It was the first time since 1990 that fans could witness Liverpool’s title celebrations live, as pandemic restrictions in 2019/2020 prevented a proper public celebration.
A 21st League title could be on the cards as Mohammed Salah and Virgil van Dijk have signed new contracts ahead of next season.

Liverpool favourites to win 2025-26 Premier League
The new season may be three months away, but already the odds make for good reading from Liverpool’s point of view.
As per Oddschecker (27 May), Liverpool are the bookmakers’ favourite for the 2025/26 Premier League title, with the best odds at 21/10.
The Reds are also strong favourites for a top-four finish, with 1/6 odds reflecting expectations of continued dominance into the new season.
Odds also place Arsenal and Manchester City as the top competition for Liverpool, as they have both finished in the top three for three consecutive seasons.
Liverpool | 84 Points |
Arsenal | 74 Points |
Manchester City | 71 Points |
Arsenal were unlucky this season, underperforming due to injury troubles holding back their full potential.
Next season could be more competitive for the Reds, as Arsenal are determined to end their 22-year wait for a league title.

Slot set for a ‘shake-up’ in the transfer window
Winning the Premier League title was an incredible achievement, but the Carabao Cup final loss and shock defeat to Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup shows there is still room for improvement.
Key stars are already set to leave Merseyside this summer, with Trent Alexander-Arnold making his last appearance at Anfield.
Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Harvey Elliott have all been linked with potential Anfield exits during the transfer window.
Liverpool are already active in the transfer market, with Bundesliga star Florian Wirtz close to leaving Bayer Leverkusen in favour of a move to Anfield.
Wirtz has the potential to become the signing of the summer, bringing a creative spark talent that could help Slot push for a back-to-back league title.
Following Wirtz, teammate Jeremie Frimpong is also close to signing for the Reds, as a potential replacement for Alexander-Arnold.
After this season’s success Slot will be aiming for another trophy. With major reinforcements planned to replace departing players, a second consecutive league title is looking increasingly likely.
