Liverpool happy to sanction Tsimikas sale to Leeds United as likely fee shared
Liverpool left-back Kostas Tsimikas has been linked with a move away from Anfield in the summer.
For his second season in charge, Arne Slot is set to mould this Liverpool squad further in his image.
There are set to be a few casualties with the likes of Darwin Nunez, Harvey Elliott, Luis Diaz and Tsimikas all rumoured to be leaving Merseyside in the upcoming transfer window.
Tsimikas has been linked with newly promoted Leeds United, as the Whites attempt to stay up in their first season back in the Premier League.

Liverpool want up to £15m for Tsimikas
As reported by Football Insider (26 May), Tsimikas would cost Leeds somewhere in the region of £12-15 million.
With the 29-year-old seeing limited game time this season, a switch to Elland Road, where he would become first choice, would seem appealing.

Left-back is seemingly an area Slot wants to address in the summer.
The Reds have been widely linked with Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth to reinforce their defence. If the Hungarian were to sign, then Tsimikas would slide even further down the pecking order.

Liverpool selling Tsimikas makes perfect sense
With the Greek international’s contract set to expire in 2027, Liverpool must sell now if they still want a reasonable fee for the defender. Tsimikas originally signed for the club for £11.6million back in 2020.
Being able to make a profit on a full-back who has provided solid cover for half a decade would be another savvy piece of business.
Tsimikas has failed to impress when he has featured this season, as Slot evidently has decided he is not good enough to start consistently.
Selling to Leeds for a potential profit could help when raising funds to pursue German midfielder Florian Wirtz or Kerkez as a direct replacement.
If Slot is to retain the Premier League title next season, he needs a squad he can fully trust, as you would anticipate rivals such as Arsenal and Manchester City will provide the Reds with more of a challenge next season.
