Liverpool transfer news: Journalist shares what’s ‘true’ about Fofana signing
Luis Diaz is facing an uncertain future at Liverpool ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Colombia winger has been linked with a switch from Liverpool to Barcelona in the coming months as the Reds look to revamp their attacking options.
If Liverpool do decide to cash in on Diaz, then it would leave Arne Slot in need of reinforcements to replace the 28-year-old.
And plenty of names are starting to crop up as the rumour mill stars swirling ahead of the window re-opening.

Liverpool on the lookout for Luis Diaz replacement
Barcelona boss Hansi Flick has already reportedly given his blessing to the signing of Diaz in the summer window.
Lyon winger Malick Fofana is among the list of reported names who are being eyed as a potential replacement if Diaz is allowed to depart.
It has been suggested that the Ligue 1 club are willing to listen to offers for some of their prized assets after they once again missed out on Champions League qualification.
Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri (24 May) has now revealed it is “true” that Fofana is on the list of potential replacements Liverpool have in mind for Diaz.
He added that the Reds are following “carefully his profile” as they weigh up whether to make a move for the 20-year-old, who already has one cap for Belgium.
Liverpool to revamp Slot’s attacking options
The Reds’ forward line looks certain to be freshened up this summer with Darwin Nunez also having been linked with a Liverpool exit.
Bayer Leverkusen ace Florian Wirtz is heavily reported to be on Liverpool’s wish-list but seemingly there are a host of other options on their radar.
It would not be too much of a surprise to see Liverpool freshen up their options, even though they absolutely waltzed to the Premier League title this season.
Mohamed Salah has been in tremendous form for Liverpool but Diaz, Nunez, and Diogo Jota have had issues whether that be form, consistency, or injury, and Slot will be keen to ensure his side have more strings to their attacking bow.
With Jeremie Frimpong also thought to be close to joining from Leverkusen as Trent Alexander-Arnold’s replacement, there is already plenty of work going on at Anfield.
It promises to be an exciting summer and hopefully one that can set the Reds up to retain their title next season.
