Roy Keane stops Ian Wright after what he’s predicted about Liverpool

Roy Keane was less than impressed with Ian Wright after the latter shared his prediction on Liverpool.

Liverpool are already somewhat in holiday mode, having won the Premier League title weeks ago, as showcased by their display in the recent defeat to Brighton.

However, the Reds still have one more game to play this season, with an encounter against Crystal Palace at Anfield this Sunday.

Despite it meaning little in the grand scheme of things, Liverpool will be keen to end the season with a win, and Wright expects them to do that, though his prediction is odd to say the least.

Wright shares Liverpool v Crystal Palace prediction

Both sides will look back at this campaign as a successful one, with Liverpool winning the league and Palace securing European football after their FA Cup triumph.

With that said, both sides will want to end the season with a win and take as much momentum into the new campaign as possible, and Wright has predicted a high-scoring encounter at Anfield this Sunday.

Via The Overlap, Wright predicted a 6-5 win for Slot‘s side, and Keane was holding his head in his hands, and said: “This is what I’m working with, where’s your pride? Where’s your pride?”

The last encounter between these two sides ended in a 1-0 away victory for Liverpool, with Diogo Jota’s ninth-minute strike sealing all three points for the Reds.

As exciting as a 6-5 win would be, it’s fair to say that Liverpool will be happy to just end the season with a win, regardless of the score.

Liverpool have plenty to build on next season

Win, lose or draw on Sunday, it makes very little difference to either side who have ultimately already achieved something they set out to do this season.

For Liverpool, they will be looking to one-up their success next season, and recruitment at Anfield is going to play a huge role in that.

With Trent Alexander-Arnold leaving, his replacement may be needed, alongside several other additions, ahead of what will be a busy summer window.
