Gary Neville left shocked as Mohamed Salah claim made – ‘Wow’
Liverpool supporters were thrilled when Mohamed Salah extended his stay at Anfield earlier in the season.
Salah has continued to be a shining star in red this term, firing Arne Slot’s side to the Premier League title with his contributions in front of goal.
As a result, it’s no surprise that the Egyptian is being pushed when it comes to most awards coming up at the end of the Premier League campaign.

Gary Neville caught off guard by Salah claim
Slot has done a brilliant job on Merseyside this season, ensuring that any conversations about contract negotiations took a back seat throughout the campaign.
Although Trent Alexander-Arnold has opted for the exit door, leaving his reputation at Anfield somewhat tarnished, the Reds have been boosted by those who are staying put.
Salah and Virgil van Dijk are the key men retained, who will no doubt push the Reds back towards the top of the Premier League once more next term.
Despite Salah’s successful campaign, not everyone is convinced that he should receive all the awards this summer.

When discussing the Premier League team of the season on the Stick to Football podcast (21 May, 33:30), Gary Neville said: “Best forward, I don’t think we’ll hang around much on this,” before reeling off a list including Salah and Alexander Isak.
Neville continued to say: “It’s got to be Salah, hasn’t it?”
Ian Wright questioned that, though, suggesting Isak would be his preference.
Neville could not believe it, saying: “Are you going, Isak over Salah? Wow, I didn’t think that would be a choice.”
Liverpool would be desperate to have Isak and Salah
As Slot prepares for the summer transfer window, he has shown that he is ready to be ambitious ahead of the new campaign, strengthening his side as best as he can.
The pressure is already on the Dutchman to do as well as he did this term, if not better, with cup wins under their belt too.
Isak is one man who has certainly been eyed by the Reds, but Newcastle are set to whack a massive price tag on the striker.
Nevertheless, Liverpool will know that if they could gain his services, they would be an unstoppable force in the final third next season.
Salah has shown no signs of slowing down, though, and to have someone of that quality alone will help the Reds in their search for progress next season.
