Mohamed Salah wasn’t at his best as Liverpool lost 3-2 against Brighton in the Premier League on Monday.

The Amex hosted Arne Slot’s team on 19 May, as the champions played their penultimate game of the season.

Harvey Elliott opened the scoring for the Reds early on before Yasin Ayari equalised for the hosts at around the half-hour mark.

Dominik Szoboszlai restored the Merseyside outfit’s lead just before the break with a shot that looked like a cross, but Kaoru Mitoma equalised for the Seagulls in the second half and Jack Hinshelwood scored a winner late on.

Conor Bradley proves quality in Liverpool loss v Brighton

Alisson – 7

Alisson made some impressive saves to deny the Seagulls from scoring more goals.

Conor Bradley (Substituted for Wataru Endo in the 78th minute) – 7

Bradley provided the assist for the Reds’ opening goal and looked a threat in the final third throughout the game. The right-back also kept Simon Adingra quiet for most of the fixture.

Ibrahima Konate – 4

Jarell Quansah – 5

Kostas Tsimikas – 4

Tsimikas struggled defensively and didn’t provide much of a threat up front.

Ryan Gravenberch – 5

Dominik Szoboszlai (Substituted for Curtis Jones in the 64th minute) – 7

Harvey Elliott – 9

Elliott was sensational in some aspects of his game. He found the back of the net early on and was pivotal in helping Liverpool tick in the midfield.

Salah wastes opportunities at the Amex

Salah missed a few gilt-edged chances to extend the Reds’ lead, but his finishing was embarrassing.
