Liverpool fans ‘can have no complaints’ as Mohamed Salah hits out
Mohamed Salah has given Liverpool supporters some of their best memories in the Merseyside club’s history.
The Egyptian has been in sensational form this season and helped drive Arne Slot’s side towards the Premier League title.
However, as the season draws to a close, there have been some unsavoury scenes in the North West.
The 32-year-old has addressed the negativity with a clear message to the Reds’ supporters.

Salah speaks out amid Liverpool controversy
Although this season will be remembered for Liverpool’s famous triumph, it will also be remembered for sour scenes.
Position | Club | Played | Points |
1st | Liverpool | 36 | 83 |
2nd | Arsenal | 36 | 68 |
3rd | Newcastle United | 36 | 66 |
4th | Chelsea | 37 | 66 |
While it was expected for some time, Trent Alexander-Arnold’s confirmed exit from Anfield was met with hate from some quarters of supporters.
It is expected that the academy product will join Spanish giants Real Madrid, but that has yet to be announced.
During the Reds’ recent Premier League clash with Arsenal, the right-back was greeted by boos from some Liverpool faithful.
His teammate, Salah, did not shy away from addressing Alexander-Arnold’s reception while speaking to The Standard.
He said: “The fans were being harsh with him, I think he didn’t deserve it.
“He deserves the fans to treat him in the best way possible because he gave it all to the fans.
“I was surprised, because it’s not how we react as Liverpool fans. We shouldn’t act this way with anyone.”

Salah right to defend Alexander-Arnold
Players should not be expected to bend for supporters when they are in the wrong.
Salah and Alexander-Arnold have been Liverpool colleagues for some time, and what happened would have hurt both.
The Egyptian could have chosen to stay silent, but rather than be a bystander, he rightly defended his teammate.
Of course, it would be wrong to accuse all Reds supporters for what happened, as it was a minority.
However, they should think again before deciding to greet one of their own with such discontent.
Now Liverpool’s players have witnessed what happens when one of their own leaves, how would they have felt?
Players like Conor Bradley have come through the youth system and are making their mark on the first team, with a new contract now confirmed.
He has now been dealt a warning of what happens if you leave the Merseyside club for pastures new.
Supporters crave commitment, but in this situation, Salah was right to defend Alexander-Arnold.
