Kelleher sends message as Liverpool star signs new long-term contract at Anfield

Liverpool have made their move to avoid being hit by another Trent Alexander-Arnold controversy at Anfield already.

Alexander-Arnold has angered everyone in red, as he seemingly prepares for a move to Real Madrid, announcing his impending exit weeks before the season ends.

Despite the departure of a home-grown talent, in a big win for the Reds, Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk finally signed two-year extensions after much deliberation.

However, one Liverpool star has followed in the footsteps of Salah and van Dijk by putting pen to paper on a long-term deal.

Caoimhin Kelleher sends message to Conor Bradley

With Alexander-Arnold preparing to walk out the door, Liverpool will be looking at Bradley to lead down the right-hand side for many years to come.

The Northern Irishman has now signed a new long-term contract, securing his spot on Merseyside.

Bradley took to Instagram (17 May) to share his delight at the new deal, which will see him remain at Anfield for the next four years.

Under the post, goalkeeper Kelleher conveyed his support with clapping hands and a red heart.

Bradley will be important for the future

Bradley has huge boots to fill, but has shown huge promise over the past two seasons.

As well as stand-out performances against Tottenham and West Ham this season, the right-back impressed with his performance against Madrid superstar Kylian Mbappe in the Champions League.

Now, as Liverpool enter another new tenure under Arne Slot and without their starman on the right flank, all eyes will be on Bradley, expecting him to deliver just as the man who came before.

However, the Reds are not about to let him bear the burden alone and are in talks to enlist the help of Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong to give him a helping hand at the back.

With Bradley and Firmpng set to become a dynamic duo on the flanks, Liverpool will present a challenge to any team for years to come.
