FSG confident they’re about to pull off major new Liverpool signing
Fenway Sports Group are set for a huge summer at Liverpool.
The American ownership has been accused by some sections of the Anfield fanbase of holding the team back due to their frugal nature when it comes to recruitment.
However, they are set to oversee a major overhaul as Arne Slot puts the finishing touches to his squad after winning the Premier League title.

FSG confident of securing Frimpong signing for Liverpool
One area that the champions need to improve is right-back as Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to depart for Real Madrid upon the expiry of his contract.
The solution has been identified as Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong and a report from Sebastian Vidal (16 May) claims that the Reds board are confident of sealing a deal.
It states that the Anfield club are set to pay the £29.5m release clause and have nearly agreed on personal terms with the former Celtic man.

Liverpool can wrap up the title again with good business
If the Reds get their business right in the summer window, they could wrap up the title before a ball has been kicked.
Slot was expected to struggle after replacing legendary manager Jurgen Klopp but he walked the English game on his first attempt.
Premier League | Played | GD | Points |
C. Liverpool | 36 | +46 | 83 |
2. Arsenal | 36 | +33 | 68 |
The fact that he did it with just one signing, Federico Chiesa, who has played just 41 league minutes this season, makes the accomplishment even more impressive.
The right-back would be a solid start, he is similar to Alexander-Arnold in that he is primarily an attacking player, with five goals and five assists in 33 Bundesliga matches last season.
Signing the Dutchman would mean that Slot has to find solutions, such as dropping his six into defence when out of possession or signing a more defensive left-back but it is a very dangerous addition going forward and could free Mohamed Salah to cause even more havoc.
If the owners back their head coach correctly, he could do the same again, walking the league by an even bigger margin this time, especially if Frimpong’s teammate Florian Wirtz joins him on Merseyside as has been rumoured.
