Conor Bradley hailed for ‘unbelievable’ trait he brings to Liverpool
Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to leave Liverpool at the end of the season.
Although the Liverpool lad has been a favourite at Anfield for a long time, things have turned sour for some supporters as he prepares for his Merseyside exit.
Nevertheless, Arne Slot now needs to shift his mind towards the summer transfer window, in the hope of making the right additions to push his side to a second Premier League title.

Conor Bradley backed to cope in Alexander-Arnold’s place
Losing a player of Alexander-Arnold’s standards is always going to be a blow for a side that is looking to be at the very top of their game.
Furthermore, with the right-back out of contract at the end of the term, the Reds will not benefit by cashing in on him and being able to reinvest the money.
One positive for the Reds is that Conor Bradley is ready and waiting in the wings for his moment to shine.
The 21-year-old has shown promising signs at Anfield so far, making 16 Premier League appearances this season, having struggled with injury along the way.
Slot is expected to give the youngster more game time in the final games of the season, seemingly hoping that the experience now will put him in good standing for an increased role next term.
Speaking live on talkSPORT (10 May, 6:28am), Tony Cascarino admitted that he thinks Bradley will handle the job due to his own traits as he said: “Conor Bradley, I really hope he stays injury-free because he’s a real, real talent.
“Unbelievable energy, Conor Bradley. Up and down, he’s like an Andy Robertson on the right who could just keep going one way, go back and go again.
“If he avoids injury, I think he’ll be fine.”
Liverpool have to separate Bradley from Alexander-Arnold
Although Bradley is likely to be the man playing at right-back for Liverpool next season, he is not a player that can be compared to his predecessor in the position and this needs to be avoided.
The pair are different kinds of players and at such a young age, Bradley still has plenty of space to grow and develop his game, so naturally, he’s not expected to be at the same level just yet.
Season | Appearances | Goals |
2024/25 | 16 | 0 |
2023/24 | 11 | 1 |
The key thing for the defender is staying fit next season, as this will give Bradley the opportunity to increase his minutes and grow into his role in the team, too.
Slot clearly has faith in Bradley, which should serve as a massive confidence booster; it just needs to come together on the pitch on a regular basis now.
