Liverpool v Arsenal preview: Team news, where to watch, supercomputer prediction
Liverpool will be looking to compound Arsenal’s misery when the sides meet on Sunday.
The Anfield clash (11 May) was pencilled in as a potential Premier League title decider but the Reds have already been crowned champions.
Arne Slot‘s side will be looking to bounce back from the 3-1 defeat against Chelsea but the Gunners will also be keen to ensure victory after being eliminated from the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain (8 May).
Liverpool v Arsenal preview
The Reds have little to play for after wrapping up the title with four matches to spare, but Slot will be keen to end the season with momentum.
His side lost last time out against Enzo Maresca’s side but had won four of their last five league games before that defeat.
Premier League | Played | GD | Points |
C. Liverpool | 35 | +46 | 82 |
2. Arsenal | 35 | +33 | 67 |
Mohamed Salah is still chasing records, with the all-time contributions tally in a single campaign and the most assists in a single season still within his sights, so he will be keen to have a good game.
Meanwhile, for the visitors, they have won just two of their last six league matches and have been eliminated from European competition.
The North London outfit will be keen to bounce back against the champions but it looks an almighty ask given their recent run but they may be fired up after having to give their opponents a guard of honour before kick off.

Team News
Slot has no new fitness issues for the contest with just Joe Gomez and Tyler Morton ruled out for the home match.
The Dutchman confirmed that Conor Bradley may start against the Gunners with Trent Alexander-Arnold’s impending departure.
He may also decide to bring the likes of Dominic Szoboszlai, Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate back into the starting line-up after the fringe players failed to impress at Stamford Bridge.
Mikel Arteta’s side have no fresh injury concerns for the trip to Merseyside with Gabriel, Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Takehiro Tomiyasu remaining on the sidelines.
The Spaniard may well decide to go with a similar team to the one that was defeated in Paris, with Ben White being the only incoming to give Jurrien Timber a rest.
Predicted line-ups
Liverpool: Alisson, Bradley, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Salah, Gakpo, Diaz.
Arsenal: Raya, White, Saliba, Kiwior, Lewis-Skelly, Partey, Rice, Odegaard, Saka, Merino, Martinelli.

Where to watch
The Anfield contest will kick off at 16:30 and has been chosen for broadcast on UK television.
The clash is available to watch via Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League.
Supercomputer Prediction
Liverpool are expected to come out on top in the clash, with the Opta supercomputer giving the hosts a 46.1 per cent chance of winning.
Meanwhile, the Gunners have been handed a 28.2 per cent chance of victory with a draw being the least likely outcome at just 25.8 per cent.
The Reds will be keen to put a marker down on Arteta’s side and this may be a factor in why the prediction has gone in their favour.
