Liverpool fans wowed by Mac Allister announcement – ‘Better than Messi’
Alexis Mac Allister has been a standout player at Liverpool this season.
The Argentina international has been a crucial cog in Arne Slot‘s Premier League-winning machine with his performances often going under the radar.
However, his form has finally been acknowledged after a new announcement was made ahead of the clash with Arsenal (11 May).

Mac Allister finally recognised for Liverpool form
The Anfield star has notched 10 goal contributions this season in a superb sophomore campaign on Merseyside.
Three of those came in the month of April, with goals against Fulham (6 April) and Tottenham (27 April) and an assist against West Ham (13 April).
The 26-year-old has been handed the Premier League Player of the Month award for his performances in April.
Liverpool fans get carried away after Mac Allister announcement
Mac Allister may well have a claim for being the best midfielder in the division and he should earn a place in the Team of the Season when the campaign concludes.
However, one supporter labelled him as better than Lionel Messi after the announcement, which is definitely a step too far.
One thing is for sure about the Argentine superstar though, the £35million that the Reds paid Brighton for his services in 2023 was a bargain and has been fully repaid already with his displays this season.
With Real Madrid sniffing around Trent Alexander-Arnold after he announced his departure from the L4 outfit after 20 years, it would not be a surprise if the 26-year-old was the next Anfield ace to be on their list, although Ibrahima Konate is another potential target.
Supporters will hope that the club can resist any advances for the ex-Seagulls star, as he is integral to Slot’s team and he has matured into a world-class operator in either the eight role or as a holding midfielder.
With Alexander-Arnold departing, Mac Allister may even be able to showcase his creativity a bit further up the pitch as Conor Bradley, the likely replacement at right-back, is nowhere near as good with the ball at his feet and the Dutchman will have to find a solution.
