Jordan Henderson sends Trent Alexander-Arnold message on Liverpool exit
Trent Alexander-Arnold shared the message that Liverpool supporters had all been waiting for as he confirmed his departure from Anfield.
The right-back had been expected to leave the club this summer, with his contract set to expire in June.
It is believed that the 26-year-old will join Real Madrid on a free transfer, although that is yet to be confirmed, with messages of support now flooding in from teammates, new and old.

Alexander-Arnold confirmed on social media that he will leave the North West club after 20 years.
During his time with Liverpool, he has made over 350 appearances and won a wealth of trophies, including the Champions League, Premier League, and Club World Cup.

His departure has been basically known for some time, and Liverpool supporters have been split over the news of his exit.
Despite the ill feelings among some supporters, former Reds players have offered their support to the Englishman.
Former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson sent the 26-year-old a heartfelt message in response to his social media post.
He said: “What a journey. Thank you for everything. Everyone knows what the club means to you, and your legacy will live forever. The scouser in our team. Good luck with the next chapter! We will all be supporting you.”
Liverpool must invest in new right-back
With Alexander-Arnold’s departure now official, Arne Slot must press on with securing a new right-back for next season.
Conor Bradley has looked accomplished when given his chance and will likely be the first choice.
However, the Merseyside outfit are short of numbers at full-back and will need to add competition for the Northern Ireland international.
Joe Gomez has filled in at right-back in the past, but he has been heavily touted for a move away, given his limited opportunity and injuries.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for Jeremie Frimpong and could even be close to agreeing a deal with the Bayer Leverkusen man.
Elsewhere, it is expected that Slot will further bolster his backline by signing a left-back to challenge the experienced Andy Robertson.
The Reds are keen on AFC Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez, and if this season is anything to go by, then he would be a statement signing.
With Alexander-Arnold’s departure now confirmed, Liverpool must strengthen if they are to retain their Premier League title.
