Szoboszlai disaster, Alexander-Arnold stuns – Liverpool player ratings v Leicester
Trent Alexander-Arnold was back with a bang as Liverpool beat Leicester 1-0 in the Premier League on Sunday.
Liverpool exerted their dominance over the Foxes at the King Power Stadium on 20 April as expected, but had to fight tooth and nail to grab the winner.
Mohamed Salah came close to adding to his 27-goal tally in the Premier League early on, but was unlucky to see his shot denied by both sides of the post.
Leicester looked like they might snatch two points off the runaway champions at one point, but Alexander-Arnold eventually emerged as the hero for the visitors.
Making his first appearance in four games, the right-back grabbed the winner for Arne Slot’s side with a left-footed strike in the 76th minute.
Here, Liverpool News rates each player’s performance out of 10.

Alexander-Arnold back with bang
A lot has been said about Alexander-Arnold in recent weeks, as he nears the end of his spell at Liverpool.
The England international is due to leave Anfield on a free transfer when his contract runs out at the end of the season.

Real Madrid are said to have already lined up a deal to acquire the defender’s services, leaving the Liverpool faithful frustrated.
However, Alexander-Arnold displayed his passion for the Reds as he took off his shirt to celebrate his winner against Leicester.
The celebration was such that it makes one wonder if there is still a possibility that he puts pen to paper on a new deal with the Merseyside-based club.
