Liverpool ‘to gain £175m Premier League title windfall’ – Exclusive
Liverpool are on the verge of winning the Premier League title.
The Reds need just two wins to secure a second title in the last five years and could even win it sooner if Arsenal lose to Ipswich and they beat Leicester (20 April).
Arne Slot looks set to complete a historic first season in charge at Anfield after replacing Jurgen Klopp and it could net a major windfall.

Liverpool to net massive financial benefit
Winning the Premier League title will be huge for Liverpool, not just in terms of the sporting aspect but also from a financial point of view.
Finance expert Dan Plumley exclusively told Liverpool News how much money that the L4 outfit are set to gain from broadcasting rights.
He said: “We will not see the numbers for this season until it ends but if you look at last season, it’s fairly sort of there or thereabouts, now we are into a new TV deal.
“The gap between the top few is not that great actually. If you look at last year, the champions, Man City, got around £175m but Arsenal were just under that as well, and Liverpool took £171m for finishing third.
Premier League | Played | GD | Points |
1. Liverpool | 32 | +43 | 76 |
2. Arsenal | 32 | +30 | 63 |
“It does depend on how many times you are on TV – that does get a bit of a swing – but at the very least we are looking at those top positions, you are talking £175m in broadcast money alone.
“So that will be there or thereabouts that kind of figure again when we see the numbers for the end of this season.”

Slot to kickstart Liverpool era with title success
It has been a great start to the Slot era at Anfield, and with the right investment from Fenway Sports Group in the summer it could get even better.
The Reds have already tied down Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah to new deals that will keep them at the club until 2027 and increases their chances of future successes.
If they can reinforce the squad further in the right places, Slot could build a dynasty and take the Merseysiders to even higher levels.
