Klopp could make sensational return to management as Red Bull discontent emerges

Jurgen Klopp could make a return to management just one year after he left Liverpool.

The legendary German manager announced in January 2024 that he would leave Anfield at the end of the 2023-24 season.

The former Borussia Dortmund manager won the Premier League and Champions League with the Reds but ultimately the job took its toll in the end.

The 57-year-old joined the Red Bull group as the Head of Global Soccer in January 2025 but he has been tipped to exit that post already.

Klopp could be set for sensational Red Bull exit

Liverpool supporters were devastated when Klopp left and their pain could be increased as they could see him back in a dugout sooner rather than later.

A report from Brazilian outlet UOL (16 April) claims that the German could be set to return to management with Brazil and Real Madrid interested in his services.

It states that Klopp has became increasingly discontent in his new role with the energy drink giants turned sports franchise, although a departure is unlikely.

Liverpool fans would be gutted to see Klopp managing anywhere else

While Liverpool supporters are undoubtedly happy with Arne Slot since he replaced Klopp as it seems like the Anfield outfit are going to win the Premier League title, they would still be devastated if the German was to manage another team.

The former Mainz boss understood the supporters, he understood the city and he left as an honourary scouser with several murals painted of him in and around the local area.

If he was to join the Bernabeu outfit specifically, that would upset fans as Los Blancos are trying to tempt Trent Alexander-Arnold away from Merseyside and have gotten the better of the Reds in two Champions League finals in recent years.

There is no love lost between the two sides and seeing Klopp on the sidelines in the Spanish capital would leave a majorly sour taste in the mouth of the Anfield faithful.

Supporters could probably handle the iconic manager going to an international role, such as Brazil or Gemany, as he would not be directly competing with the L4 outfit.
