Ian Rush reacts to what Mohamed Salah did after Liverpool win v West Ham
Ian Rush sent a message to Mohamed Salah after Liverpool beat West Ham United 2-1 in the Premier League on Sunday.
Liverpool took another step towards the Premier League title after claiming a hard-earned victory over West Ham at Anfield on 13 April, courtesy of goals from Luis Diaz and Virgil van Dijk.
Diaz put the Reds in front just 18 minutes into the game, but an underwhelming second half from the hosts allowed the Irons to draw level via an Andy Robertson own goal after a miscommunication between the left-back and his captain.
However, Van Dijk quickly made amends for his mistake by grabbing the winner for Arne Slot’s side with just one minute left to 90.
With that result, Slot and Co. only need six more points to clinch the title.

Therefore, Liverpool have successfully bounced back from their 3-2 defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage last Sunday (6 April).
Meanwhile, Salah marked his first game after signing a new two-year deal at Anfield by providing the assist for Diaz’s opener.
The Egypt international also continued his habit of sharing a picture with the goal scorers immediately after a win with the Reds.

He was quick to post a picture with Diaz and Van Dijk on Instagram (13 April) after Liverpool’s victory over West Ham, with thousands of people reacting to it immediately.
Rush was among those who responded to the post, commenting a clapping emoji in appreciation of the Reds players.
The Liverpool icon also expressed his delight at the result on his own Instagram handle.
“Get in! Big three points at home”, he wrote.
Liverpool set to announce Van Dijk contract
After months of speculation, Liverpool have agreed new deals with Salah and Van Dijk, although they have only announced the news about the former as of now.
It would not be a surprise if the Anfield outfit confirmed the Dutchman’s new deal in the wake of his goalscoring performance against West Ham.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, though, appears to be on his way out to join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
