Liverpool ‘gift wrap transfer to Everton’ after official announcement
Liverpool have seemingly gift-wrapped a transfer to Everton after their latest announcement.
The two Merseyside clubs typically do nothing to help each other, particularly when it comes to the transfer market, where there’s usually very little in the way of a working relationship between them.
However, Liverpool have seemingly handed Everton a massive helping hand ahead of the summer transfer, which David Moyes will likely exploit.
While they rarely do transfer business with each other, that is something that could change during this summer window in a rare moment.

Liverpool have retained Mohamed Salah
The Reds made a major announcement on Friday (11 April), as it was confirmed that Mohamed Salah has signed a two-year contract extension.
There had been some fears that the Egypt international would leave Anfield at the end of this season as his previous deal was set to expire then, and there had been little movement toward a deal in recent months.

However, unlike Trent Alexander-Arnold, Salah has come to terms with an extension that will keep him in Merseyside until 2027.
It’s a massively positive move for the Reds given Salah’s quality as a footballer, with his influence both in terms of his end product and general performance being unmatched within the team.
Arne Slot was likely going to struggle replacing him in the summer transfer window, and it certainly wouldn’t have been a cheap situation.

Everton will look to sign a Liverpool star
Salah remaining at Anfield is positive for the Reds, but not so much for Ben Doak, who is still looking to break into Slot’s first team.
The 19-year-old has been impressing during his loan spell at Middlesbrough this season, and he has ended up catching Moyes’ eye.
It has been recently reported that Everton want to sign Doak from Liverpool, and Salah staying on will surely only benefit the Toffees.
Experienced manager Moyes is looking to add some young, hungry players to his squad this summer to bolster what’s available to him and strengthen the overall quality.
Doak is a player he wants to sign, and now that Salah has committed his future to the club, there is a chance that Liverpool will be more open to selling him to their Merseyside rivals in the summer.
